County Senior Hurling League

We face Carrick Swans this coming weekend in Division 2 of the league. Best of luck to our team and management. Throw in is at 11am in Dolla on Sunday morning.

Our Juniors had a good 1-17 to 0-12 win over Kilruane in Division 5 of the league on Sunday last. The 'Mines led by 0-10 to 0-7 at the break and pushed on strongly in the second half to record a deserved opening round victory.

Light Up Thursdays

We are hosting a Light Up Thursday nights initiative in Dolla until the end of March. All are invited to attend Dolla for either walk or run on our track between 7pm and 8pm every Thursday evening.

U-17 Football

We are down to play JK Brackens at 3pm on Sarurday in Templemore. Best of luck to the team and management as they go in search of their first win in the competition.

U-13 Football 

We are playing Toomevara this Saturday with our D team scheduled to ay at 3pm and our A team at 4pm in St. Michael's Park.

Membership

Membership for 2024 is now open and can be renewed online on the Foireann app or website. This is the easiest way to pay club membership and all membership packages for the club, gym and walking track are clearly set out. Membership must be paid by all players before the season commences.

Silvermines GAA Easter Camp

Silvermines GAA will host an Easter GAA Camp for boys and girls aged 6-13 on March 26th, 27th and 28th from 10am to 1pm each day. The fee is €40 per child and a free sliotar and football is included in the price. Please register through the link https://tipperary.gaa.ie/tipperary-gaa-easter-camp/

Silvermines GAA Clothing Collection

Silvermines GAA will host a clothing collection on the week of the 18th to the 22nd of March. Clothes can be dropped at the dressing room beside the meeting room in Dolla on any evening (Mon-Fri) between the above dates between 6.30pm and 7.30pm. Clothes, paired shoes, handbags, belts, towels, curtains, blankets, pillowcases and duvet covers can be collected. No soiled clothes, duvets or pillows.

Gaeltacht Scholarships

Applications are now open for the Gaeltacht scholarships for 2024. Closing date is Friday April 12th at 12 noon and the scholarships are open to 2nd year, TY and 5th year students.  Please contact Majella, our club secretary to obtain the relevant forms. All applicants must be paid up members.

Allianz League Semi-Final

Well done to Jason Forde and Michael Corcoran who were part of the Tipperary side who overcame Antrim in the final round of the Allianz NHL in Corrigan Park on Saturday last. Congratulations to Jason who was awarded Man of the Match also and best of luck Jason and Michael and the Tipperary team in the league semi-final this coming Sunday.

Camogie League Final

Best of luck to Ciara Ryan and Miriam Murphy who will be part of the Tipperary camogie squad who face Cork in the Division 2B league final this coming Saturday.

Our club Lotto is now at 9,900 euro. Tickets can be bought from committee members or in a number of outlets in Nenagh where the Lotto jackpot is displayed. Lotto tickets can also be bought and renewed online. Also could all yearly lotto members please make contact with Maeve De Loughrey to check payment for the upcoming year.
